This week we will inquire into the reasons why we as a nation recognise April 25th, Anzac Day, as a special day of remembrance.

I don't think we should celebrate war or glorify it but we should respect and honor the people who gave their lives to protect other peoples lives.
ReplyDeleteI think that we should celebrate ANZAC day forever because those people that fought put there lifes on the line to make our world safe. if you don't care about the war think again amagine if you hade to leave your family friends town or country to go fight and might never come back. So this is why we should always remember.
ReplyDeleteI think that war is an important thing to celebrate because people went out there and risked their lives so that we could live in a free country. Although it was a horrible thing to have to do all of the people involved went out there and lived in trenches, put up with the guns firing and bombs exploding until we had a free country. I think the fact that we have Anzac day to remember these people is very special because they are very important people and we should be thankful that they were willing to fight in war so that we could have a better future.

i thing the war is something we should remember but i dont think we should celebrate it becouse the people in the war went though alot of pain and sorrow but we can be thankful for the solders and the nurses who gave their lives to go to go there
ReplyDeleteI think that (Anzac day Australian New Zeland army corps) should be celebrated because all these people that went to war risked there lives just for there country they should be congratulated of what they had done for there country.

ReplyDeleteI believe that Anzac day should not be celebrated but should really be a memorial day in honor of those who risked there lives to set our country free , then again we should celebrate it because of our freedom and for those that are alive, risking there innocent lives is something that we should always remember.
ReplyDeleteI think that we should remember the soldiers that went to Gallipoli to fight in the war but we shouldn't celebrate it. We should keep the tradition of wearing the poppy on the 25 of April.
