I dont think NZ should be part of Australia, we have our own culture
ReplyDeleteI think we should not merge with Australia. We have our culture and identity and we would lose this if we joined with Australia. we would end up having to change our national animal and lose our haka.it might make sense in terms of politics and trade but not in our way of life.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think that NZ should be a part of Australia. We have our culture that we live by and they have theirs. I mean like we live different life styles. E.g. we have more farm lands were as Australia has lots of beaches.

ReplyDeleteAs a proud New Zealander I stand by our country. We both have our own heritage to care for and I don't think New Zealand or Australia would enjoy sharing their special culture with each other. What would happen to our National anthem? Or that unique slice of "kiwiana"? Australia and New Zealand may share the same union jack, the same Tasman Sea and the same favourite sport. But sharing the same country? Something I don't want to do...

It is a big question if New Zealand should become part of Australia. 52% of Australians said no and way over 50% of New Zealanders say no, too. I think that the two nations should stay how they are. If Australia and new Zealand go together we could go hunting there and hunt all their boar. The bad thing is that all the Australien farmers would come here and take over the farming industry because we have more grass in here. By Ben
ReplyDeleteNO!! why would we kewl new zealanders want to become some stupid aussies 1 it would ruin our maori culture 2 youb can just push new zealand closer and call it australia 3 we probally woudn't get on well with each other, and in my opinion we are to far away to be the same country. So now you have something to think about!
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion it is a really bad idea! Why should NZ be part of Australia? We have our own culture, our own special places, beautiful scenery, good education and heaps of other things we have achieved without Australia. We would have to learn the history of Australia, change our money and get taken over by a new government. The Australians have taken all the land from the Aborigines and would probably do the same to the land owned by the maoris.I do not want to speak like an Australian!

no we should not join with australia because we would lose our haka,anthem and change our national bird and such and such.Loads of things would have to change.But the country would be bigger and we would have way more places to go to.
